Custom Coasters
I recently made a trade with Martha from OpenDoorStudio . I received some lovely vintage thermos used for vases:
In exchange for these wonderful thermos, I created Martha some custom coasters. Because she is an artist herself, the coasters were made from pictures of her artwork.

I know what you're thinking. There isn't much cash going around right now to just splurge on mom for Mother's Day this year. But, I want to propose an idea. Just hear me out.
Resist buying the $20 box of See's Candy. Forgo the all purpose (you already got her one for Christmas and her birthday!) spa pedicure. Snub the brunch and mimosas at her favorite eatery. Instead, let your creativity and innovation shine through and team up with someone else in the family.
For instance, recruit your sister and score $40 handmade something from a local designer. Or, grab dad too and invest in a luxurious $60 piece of custom jewelry that she'll know was created just for her.
Now that you've got your accomplice and a generous budget, go to Etsy.com and make that mom of yours proud!

Etsy Surprise!
Wow! What a long, hectic week this has been! Everything has gone wrong & as soon as I was about to go over the deep end, Etsy saves the day! Good things come in 3's-- look what happened today on Etsy that made me SMILE =] !

Updated Art Wall!!
Yesterday was the perfect day to sit outside and paint-- I finally finished all of my frames!! I promised to add pictures of the new & updated Art Wall so here it is folks!!
